After a payment reminder, I paid my premium via id...

After a payment reminder, I paid my premium via ideal, yet 2 days later I receive a message that my car insurance has been suspended. I didn't get any wiser yesterday via chat. Today they cannot be reached at all, not even by telephone.

I understand that this (May 5) is a public holiday, and yet you can expect an insurer to arrange something, I think.

I know that I will immediately arrange my insurance elsewhere.
