Most often you are not able to choose your appraiser. If you are able to choose for your own personal appraisal I would not recommend this company. If you get stuck with them, good luck! Appraisals are drastically low. I submitted additional comps for the appraiser to take into account which were relevant, including date of sales, sq footage, and upgrades. He brushed them off with the answer of they were not in the correct time frame, which they were. Thank God with a lot of extra work and negotiations on both ends we made the deal work. But very possibly could have gone the other way. Very unprofessional in the fact I was not able to reach the owners or appraisers. Left voicemails and sent emails and did not hear back from anyone at all. Avoid this company if at all possible!
