I was here 40 years ago. When they had the sky tram. The trees have gotten so much taller which explains why they had to remove the sky tram.
It's still the largest Zoo in the US and the world. Membership is well worth it if you and your Family enjoy the animals here. A one day trip is not enough to learn or study about the animals. We've been here 4 times this summer and will definitely go back again. The IDNYC card gives you 1 year free membership for adults (1 time offer only). When that membership expires, you're offered an annual discount membership. Worth it!
There are camel rides for the kids and the Asia Monorail. The treetops Adventure is one the kids favorite too.

The proceeds go to WCS to help save Earth's animals.
