Consistently great service. We have stayed at the Tamaya resort a number of times. Almost without exception we have had great service. The setting is peaceful. Situated in a unique setting where you can only see the mountain, the river bosque and beautiful sandstone bluffs, you are right between Albuquerque and Santa Fe - close to the city and sightseeing - but feel like you are miles from everything. Very relaxing atmosphere. The feel is intimate and quiet. The staff is helpful and genuinely friendly. I am gluten intolerant and when I asked my server at the Santa Ana Cafe at the hotel what I could order that was gluten free, the chef came from the kitchen and personally walked me through the prime rib buffet (Friday nights) and pointed out what was safe for me to eat. Then, because there wasn't a safe desert at the buffet, he made me a chocolate torte cake with pecan topping and sweet cream that was sinfully delicious and gluten free and brought it to my table personally and then checked back after the meal to make sure that I had enjoyed it. No extra charge.
