When we went into the Brookmont display home in SA, we spoke to Kimberly. Kimberly was fabulous from beginning to end. My original thought was to not build with Hickinbotham, but after meeting her and going through plans and the things that are possible, we were sure that Hickinbotham was the company to go through. Through this process which they call the "admin process" we had a number of personal issues that we thought would prevent us from building. We were up front and honest, which led Kimberly to confirm that she would do everything in her power to help us and that SHE DID. Luckily our personal issues were resolved and we were okay to continue our build. By this point, our liaison officer was Monique... A name i'll never forget. I feel like she held my hand when I felt like everything wasn't working and I wish we still had her as our contact person. Hickinbotham, if you're reading this, PROMOTE HER!! You need more people on your team like her!
We are now in the "construction process" and have Nicole D as our office liaison person. Sadly Nicole has had to have some time off and therefore the rest of the team seem to have no idea what's going on.
I have had confirmation that their system allows them to have caller notes, yet they never use them. Our frame has just started, yet every time I call and give my details, I get told "Oh wonderful, we can see here that your build is complete".... UM WHAT?! I shouldn't have to mention that WE ARE IN THE CONSTRUCTION PHASE EVERY TIME I RING UP! Then once someone answers, all I get is a bunch of attitude and basically a tone to say "get over your issues". I'm giving you close to a quarter of a million dollars but it's all good... clearly once you know clients have signed up, you stop caring. $$$$
I'll summarize briefly for everyone reading. If you're going to build with Hickinbotham, the early process is easy and breazy. Once they have your money, they won't know whats happening and when. You'll speak to them Monday, but by Tuesday they'll forget your 20 minute phone call and if you want to speak you site supervisor, you will get told this is possible but then you will find out that it actually doesn't happen until the end of your build... Pointless if you ask me!
Back to feeling like I shouldn't of chosen Hickinbotham!
