A group of us spent 10 days at this resort. 1) room was large and clean - we had two double queen suits, balcony was above a restaurant but had a good view of the terrain, bed was very comfortable (only downfall was the pillows but we requested other pillows which they quickly provided), room was cleaned once in the morning/afternoon and then provided in the evening as needed (we did not use this service), all linen and towels provided were high quality, couch was a bit uncomfortable but had a pull out bed if needed. 2) food on the resort was mostly good - I would recommend going down to level T and going to the Makana Market for a pizza (10/10 pizza) and coffee. The breakfast buffet was not as large as other Fairmont resort locations but the food provided was good. 3) pools - there is a large selection of pools; including adult only, children, and a swim up pool bar - the only downside is the proximity of the adult only pool to the child pool; only for the noise. The swim up pool bar was great - would be better if it is adult only but works well for people who would like to drink and have their children around 4) beach area - this is within walking distance of the main part of the resort, it is a smaller beach section BUT the water and the beach is beautiful. There are towels provided and staff that are watching the guests. 5) GYM!! - BEST hotel gym I've been to - was able to do a FULL workout (with some adjustments)
Overall very relaxing vacation - ALL staff encountered were friendly and willing to help.
Free parking located close to the front entrance was helpful for when we rented a car.
