Service is hard to find in this hotel, Asian man at the bar with glasses is the epitome of totally non-service oriented and not child-friendly, he does not radiate that he likes their work.
Even if you order something from him or ask him for something, he prefers to ignore you .. seen and experienced with several people.
My son had hurt himself in pool the last day from something sharp .. his toe was bleeding badly.
He immediately went in on his own initiative to ask for a first aid kit but came across the Asian man as 1st and asked him only what he got with difficulty was a napkin then he cleared the blood and left my son in the lobby with a very bleeding toe he just did not help him further..my other son came to tell me and I immediately went in and heard from my children that he was not being helped further I went to the reception to ask for a first aid kit worked there
Friday afternoon a blonde girl at the reception and she is the only one who made the effort for him.
Bowl of water for rinsing .. disinfection spray .. and plasters she immediately brought ..
That is service, but she is also the only one who has provided the service.
Most of them walk around there with grumpy heads..few staff too.
Wednesday evening I had to beg 4 a5 x at the reception for 2 extra pillows .. and indicated that our telephone in the room did not work, they still have to come for the 3dgn that we were there there is no one for the phone been.
Breakfast is not great .. almost black croissants .. hard baking buns that have been in the oven for too long, making them very hard.
Breakfast is 19euro p.p sorry but WAY TOO EXPENSIVE for what you get.
Many rooms in the hotel and only 8 to 10 sunbeds by the pool.
Around the pool it seems like you are in a jungle .. so many bushes and many wasps.
Next to the jungle is a lawn with ping-pong table and swing etc for the kids that lawn does not look like they have not done anything with it for years .. so you cannot lie there in the grass but that seems like whether you are lying on hay among the ant hills.
Unfortunately, maintenance is not done there.
We had been to Novotel Eindhoven for 2 weeks with great pleasure and wanted to go a little further in the Netherlands so thought it would be nice to go to Maastricht .. after calling Novotel Maastricht by phone, it turned out to be more expensive than Eindhoven but it was a holiday and wanted With the kids also doing something in the Limburg area and with a swimming pool so after our conversation on the phone we thought let's just do it because we were told that you could not compare Novotel Eindhoven with Novotel Maastricht and that it was therefore more expensive etc.

All in all it was indeed not comparable with Eindhoven.
Novotel Maastricht is many times different in a negative sense.
So you pay more for that.
