We arrived about 1PM on a Saturday and waited for around an hour to get in. It was crowded, but the space was large so it didn't feel cramped. Most lines moved very quickly. The only notable waits were the lantern room (~40 min) and the tree climbing one (~15 min). I do wish they had a list of rooms so we could make sure not to miss any, as we were close to doing so.
Not all the rooms are equal to each other. The lantern room and the mirrored light ones were my favourites, the former you get a set amount of time.
Borderless is really a place to take photos. Some exhibits did feel like digital art displays, but overall you will feel disappointed if you don't take photos like everyone else. I'm not sure how some people spend six hours in it. We spent around 2.5 hours inside and felt like that was plenty of time to see everything.
