I dropped my new Samsung S9 on the floor and the screen smashed so I submitted a claim to my household insurance company - nationwide.

Having accepted my claim Nationwide referred my claim to bevalued because they deal with the fixing / assessment of electrical items and gadgets.

My phone was collected by courier on the 13th of June and I received an email the day after from bevalued confirming safe receipt of my item. This email also set out that they would look to try and repair the item but if they could not I would be offered a new replacement phone.

To ask for an update on my claim, I phoned bevalued on two different occasions. On the first occasion my phone call was answered almost immediately and I was given a very clear update which explained that the new parts had been ordered for my phone and I should have it within the next week. At some point after this phone call bevalued then tried to phone me but I missed it so I had to call them back; it did take them 25 minutes to answer my call this time but nonetheless when they did answer it was easy to deal with them and I got the answers I needed.

My repaired phone arrived here today which means in total I was only without it from the 13th of June to the 22nd of June and it is good as new.

There are a lot of negative reviews on here but I have to say other than having to wait a little while for my phone call to be answered I cannot fault the way in which bevalued have handled my claim but most certainly the speed with which the entire process has been completed.

I am not going to give them 5 stses because I believe there is always room for improvement but please bear in mind this positive experience when reading the deluge of negative reviews below.
