Definitely surprised me to see how many animals this facility has! Albeit, it is still a "small" zoo since there is not much else other than a small train ride behind the park. Zoo keeper talks are aplenty and the staff are happy to answer you and your kids' questions!

Overall, give this zoo a consideration if you find yourself in Austin with children; one of the few family friendly option available!
