My husband and I travel to this area for family gatherings, and have stayed here twice already. It was our first choice awhile back, and we knew we will stay here again and again!
Our reasons for giving this reviews a 5 star rating...
1. Great location...easy access off the main highway
2. King-sized bed and the bedding (including pillows) is wonderfully comfortable
3. Upon arriving here on our 2nd visit, we discovered the bedroom tv was not working properly. We called the main desk to report this. Within 5 minutes, someone came to look at it, and within another 10 minutes, we had a new TV put into pkace. Very pleased that they responded so quickly, especially since the day we checked in, they were quite full with other occupants.
4. The hot water temps in the room was just that...nice and hot! Shower was good having plenty of hot water. This has been a problem at other hotels we have stayed in.
5. Great service and staff!
6. Breakfast and "Happy Hour" was very nice, and a wonderful treat included in the hotel room rate
7. Although we didn't use the pool and the exercise room, it did look great. We plan to use it on our next visit.
8. A beautiful courtyard in the rear of hotel that has very nice seating and offered a grest view of the river and city.
9. The only down-side we've experienced was that the main lobby/breakfast/bar area was too cool temp-wise (even for august).
We have not stayed at any other hotel in the Peoria/E. Peoria area, but, because of the positive experience we've had on both occasions, this will be our only choice. We are thrilled that we picked a winner the first time!
