Beautiful Place with Lots of Problems

Beautiful Place with Lots of Problems

Just spent five days at the Henderson Lofts.

Pros:
Good location.
Condo was new and nice and beautifully decorated.
Nice swimming pool and other outdoor facilities. Two pools one adult only. Both are very nice.
Inside parking garage at no extra charge.

Cons:
No luggage carts to get things from parking garage to room. Called for one twice they said it would be delivered immediately but never was.
Had to call for help or questions on several things. Staff could not answer the most basic questions (like do you have luggage carts? ).
No sound insulation between floors. We were in a unit below a family with kids up early running/galloping. *Extremely* noisy.
The air conditioner went off one night and was off for several hours. Got pretty stuffy.
Condo kitchen appliances were nice but overall it is small and lightly furnished/equipped.
Cannot take your own food or drinks to the beach or the pool. Their options are a bit overpriced.
The waiters at the pool were *very* slow and unfriendly (except for Skylar she s awesome).
TV was slow and pixelated sometimes and the sound was intermittent from time to time.
TV View Bill always returned Error Retrieving Guest Information
Internet could not get to gmail.
Boutique was closed in the middle of the day.

Neutral or Unknown:
Having restaurants and room service available was nice but we didn t use them.

Summary:
Very nice facilities but lots of glitches and poor service. Not for us. We come to Destin every summer. Too many other good options in this area.
