Building and lobby are gorgeous. Not enticed at all by their corporate bookings policies for events. Was planning an event here, as in, "we're going to do it at the Hotel Mac." but was so dissuaded that we scrambled and booked elsewhere instead. Zero flexibility demonstrated, little interest shown in our event or organisation.
I've never stayed here as a guest, so I can't say anything about that, other than the views are stunning, both of the exterior and from the interior.
Hope they reconsider their horribly misguided renovation plans.
