Definitely a place for kids, but comparing it to something like The Exploratorium in San Francisco, it comes up a bit short. There are some exhibits that are well-designed and fun, but a lot of them aren't particularly imaginative. The building is HUGE and flexible enough that it would be easy to make incremental improvements without having to close the place down. Now we didn't visit the IMAX theater on the premises, so perhaps I'm missing a little of the WOW factor a screening would have left with me.
