So far the least pleasant part of my wedding plann...

So far the least pleasant part of my wedding planning. This place had a good selection of dresses but could not provide what I described at first. Through trial and error, I finally found the dress on the 8th try and was within my budget. I was asked to pay for 50% up front plus a rush order because the sales lady said that I would not be able to get this dress in time if I didn't add $95 for it to be here 3 weeks before my event date. I listened and paid the extra amount. 5 months went by and I heard nothing from the store when they took my phone number, address and promised to let me know as soon as they received the dress. I got worried, so I called the store 3 times and finally someone checked the system and told me they got the dress. They squeezed me in for a fitting appointment 8 days before my event date and there I found out the size they ordered was too big. The extra rush order fee I paid was a waste. The various adjustments for the dress would have costed me over $400. I was very very disappointed and all the facts told me that they were doing this on purpose because this was a one-time transaction so they wanted to squeeze every cent out of me and did not care about customer service. Yet, the sales and the store manager from the Bridal Galley kept on telling me that if I didn't pay for the fee I wouldn't have gotten my dress in time (Really? 8 days before my event date?). I had a hard time believing what they said to me so I decided to take my business else where as it was a matter of principle. I did not want to give the Bridal Gallery any more business even if I had to pay the same tailoring fee else where. I would not recommend this place to my friends or family. They've lost me as a customer.
