Was brought here from their urgent care for a GI bleed. I was admitted and given an endoscopy that revealed an old bleed by nothing more. Things. Went. Bad. Fast. I was given Phenergan medication into my JUGULAR VEIN IV SITE. That med isn't not to be pushed into such a site due to being very caustic and sure enough it blows my line and causes burns and swelling. I know that and I am not a doctor or nurse. I also magically end up with a severe bacterial infection. To which my doc gets the results and asks if I "inject myself with things"... So can't get worse right? WRONG. My neck gets worse and worse and no more tests to check for anything inside. I suffer from severe pain and swelling for days. Doctor does nothing to fix that but has no problem telling me that I have to get a new (very expensive med) for my infection!! Finally getting released and heading straight to a new hospital for help cleaning up this hospitals mess. You should really heed the advice of the majority and ruuuuuuun.....
