it will also be the Italian excellence of orthopedics, but many aspects really leave something to be desired.
Do we want to talk about the pediatric orthopedics department ?! they hospitalized my two-month-old son for a tenotomy and I heard things like "is your son fully weaned already?" ...
On the pre-admission sheet, they confirm that they have infant formula available, but then they do not specify that they do not have disposable bottles (and not even the hospital pharmacy).
During covid time the father can only be present for two hours a day, and even if during family visits, there can be only one or the other parent.
The nurses are quite disorganized, they do not follow common guidelines and in addition they seem to work in a climate of tension (perhaps frightened by the head of the department ?! who I have heard screaming several times).
Among other things, I happened to hear some nurses complain about the fact that patients (always children) required continuous assistance for fun
Not to mention the head of the ward, who probably has breakfast with bread and little sympathy and scolded me (not very politely) "lady breaks my bed, can't stay there" ... I was trying to breastfeed my child, the other option it was the sofa bed (very uncomfortable as an armchair, without infamy and without praise as a bed).
A word of advice, you are working with children ... smile you don't get wrinkles!
