We are new to using this company. First thing they wanted was $350 just to turn our power on. We asked if they took prior referrals. No, we want the money. Fine.... Then the storms hit and we had no power for over a week with small children in the house. It was a nightmare. Sorry, I am from the coast and it is called being prepared. If you spend the money burying lines and being prepared, a storm won't knock out thousands of homes. This can cause deaths and those I spoke to lost a lot of food reserves. We were lucky as it was so cold, our food actually stayed frozen. Unfortunately, we were freezing as well.

Then I misplaced a bill, when I got the next one I was charged a $10 fee for a shut off notice I never received. After missing one bill? Honestly I figured I would just pay it all on the next bill. But being late once gets a shut off notice which they conveniently forgot to send. Also my bill is higher for a 3,000 Sq foot house than it was for a 6,000 Sq foot house that I went through Avista with. How?

These people are crooks and they need to learn to be prepared for storms and such. If I had a choice, I would never use their power or go through them. They have shown me that they really don't care for their customers.
