I recently leased a 2019 ETron. I was told it was easy to charge and that there are compatible charging stations all over California. It should get 205 miles to the charge and the supercharger stations would charge the car in 40 minutes. While the car is beautiful and drives so well, it only gets 195 miles on a full charge in the charging system I had installed in my garage. This is not true.

Now a few months later it gets 160 miles full charge from my home charger that I had specially installed. The superchargers take about 2 hours and don t give a full charge. This made our family vacation take 15 hours instead of 7 one way. We should have had to stop once or twice based on a 200 mile range and we ended up stopping 5 times at 2 hr. intervals a piece. Additionally, as soon as we were at a full charge the car would immediately drop 50 miles when we drove out of the parking lot. We called Audi Beverly Hills for help and they said there wasn t anything they could do to help until we bring the car back to them. We did. They had it for 2 weeks. Said it was fine. Now it gets 160 miles to a full charge. They are not returning phone calls or taking any responsibility. We placed several calls to Audi USA and found out from the ETron department that the dealerships are truly selling a car they know very little about. The dealership and Audi USA will not work together to help us find a solution. Nobody seems to know what is wrong with the car and why it doesn t charge properly or about why the compatible chargers in the state don t charge the car properly. Nor are they willing to do anything to rectify this situation, which is the more problematic part for me. We have spent hours on the phone trying to escalate this matter and get the car fixed or something. No one has been kind enough to offer any solutions or help with this problematic $86,000 car. I keep hearing, that doesn t sound right, maybe it s the chargers you are using however, the fact that this situation continues and there are no solutions given yet is disturbing. The utter lack of customer service when you buy an 86,000 car is beyond me. It actually doesn t matter the price of the car. If it is not working correctly I expect the courtesy of a solution or effort to make this right. I am troubled by the lack of care or concern or knowledge by Audi Beverly Hills and by Audi USA. This is my first and last Audi.
