Louis, a confident and outgoing employee here stepped out of the shop and sold me a car on the side while using his reputation as a mechanic in the neighborhood as leverage for me to trust that the car was sound as he was saying, urging me to buy it on the spot.
I checked all the fluids when I bought it then drove the car for two days and the engine seized from running out of oil without any warning lights.. Louis had said his friend had just done extensive engine work when i bought it.
When I informed him of what happened he was defensive and yelling and was not going to do anything for me. Going so far as to say he s been selling cars like this and he is going to continue doing whatever he wants..
the title wasn't even in his name even though he said he had used it as his personal car for 8 months. For all I know it was a customer s car who couldn t pay him.
