The University of Western Ontario, also known as Wesley University, is a well-known medical doctoral public university in London, Ontario, Canada, referred to as UWO, Western or Western Ontario. The University of Western Ontario was founded in 1878 and was founded as a religious university by the British Church, then known as the Western University of London Ontario.
