We love the area, the homes are beautiful. I am writing a not so good review for 2 reasons: A) we purchased our home 3.5 years ago and was promised that in 2 years we would have our alley paved... not the case. We are still waiting. We have contacted Arbutus on multiple occasions throughout this summer and was told that it would be done this season. Well summer has come to an end, still no alley. Tired of having Parking wars with the neighbours. Plus with street sweeping and not being able to access our pad after it rains is super annoying!! Winter is even more fun...NOT! B) we recently had to replace our circuit board on our 3 year old furnace. No warranty...apparently when a furnace is installed the manufacturer has to be notified within 60 days from install to qualify for 10 year warranty. Not informed of this and very disappointed!!...we are still waiting to see if the electrician is successful in maybe finding out if we have or can qualify for a 5 year warranty...fingers crossed! I wish that this was disclosed at time of purchasing the home, so that did not have to dish out $1000 on a 3 yr old furnace. We hope to find out soon if we will get a refund if we do qualify for 5 year warranty.
