They gave my niece such a run around... She lost her job & place after a car accident, she just needed temporary assistance until she could get back on her feet, they kept changing the appointment on her & telling her she missed it, then telling her that she didn't have documents that no one told her she needed to bring, closing her case, forcing her to sleep at the train station. I, living in Wisconsin & her father in Virginia, called to ask if there was at least a shelter nearby that they could give her the info to because no one would really give her any information... The lady told me to have her ask & hung up on me, but she's been there every day for two weeks telling them that & they've still done nothing! I used to work at a DSS in Wisconsin that's been shut down (O.I.C.) because the employees were embezzling the funds... This place should definitely be investigated!!
