Fourth time stay at The Elms. The hotel has gone down hill.
Room- our first room was filthy. Stains on the floor, stains on the pillow that was on the couch, again on the curtain and blood stain from what looked to be bed bugs on the mattress. I requested a room change. Next room still had stained carpet but no bed bug marks on the mattress.

Grotto- they removed all the comfy ergonomically correct lounge chairs in the grotto and replaced them with cheap every day lawn chair loungers. The sauna is out of order. The cold white rags were all battered with rips. No more beer service in the grotto- have to walk up to the bar in robe to get your own beer. The quiet room replaced all their comfy chairs with hard wood loungers.

It s too bad. We made it an annual trip. I won t be coming back. For what we pay this hotel needs some work.
