Another great slice of Nottinghams history. Took one of the afternoon tours and was inundated with facts and myths. Also gained access to a couple of extra areas as well! Guides in period costumes of actual people who "frequented" the gaol over the years, to work or otherwise, act out their parts to help create the atmosphere. Next visit will be before 3pm as could well do with more than the two hours we had there.
