If you re looking for quality home improvement ser...

If you re looking for quality home improvement services along with customer satisfaction, look somewhere else. Alure had the opportunity to make my mom a very happy customer but failed miserably. My mom has waited 15 years to get our first floor bathroom ripped out and remodeled. She works two jobs and had been putting it off for quite some time because she was worried about costs. She finally took the plunge and signed a contract with Alure. Our bathroom renovation was scheduled to start May 8th. It did not start until July 25th. The lack of communication from Alure was absolutely absurd for the prices they were charging my mother. Days, phone calls, and emails went by without a single response. When my parents signed the contract in March, they were informed of being given enough time for the permits to be taken care of before starting the project. Apparently Alure didn t plan accordingly since they made my mom wait until the end of July. Throughout the week and a half long process, there were many instances that my mom seemed displeased with. The multiple workers came in and out of our house without seriously asking if what they were about to do was okay. The light switch, shower shelves, tiling, and towel rack seemed to have been overlooked and installed in without any actual planning or heads up to either of my parents. However, nothing compared to the fact that Alure doesn t do any painting and yet they claim to be this reputable company promising to transform your homes. My mom and I bought the primer, paint, and paint supplies necessary to finish her bathroom. The vanity, light fixtures, and towel rack were already mounted into the walls which is making the painting process 10x harder than it ever had to be. Joe Russo s excuses were that 1) the men don t paint 2) Alure was in a time crunch to go start a new project and couldn t do anything about it. Not only was I furious to hear this but the simple fact that Joe could not have a mature conversation with my mother was beyond absurd. He didn t even return her phone call regarding the issue. As stated earlier, they made my mom wait from late March of signing the contract, to today August 7th for it s official end date. They should have rearranged dates or made a professional decision to ensure that my mom s bathroom would be taken care of and not try to bang it out as soon as possible so that they could move on to their next job. Alure is an absolute waste of money. $26,000 later and my mom isn t smiling like I was hoping she would be. My mom deserves a good chunk of her money back as far as I m concerned. I m not sure what Alure s value as a company are but I would hope that they would be customer satisfaction and service, as well as communication. I would never recommend Alure to anyone. You re better off hiring the mice from Cinderella. If negative star ratings existed, trust me Alure would be the first company to receive one.
