I had a Tramco lift station flood control system in my home in Chicago installed by Nuzzo Plumbing and I never feared it going out, or having a flood in my basement. It's well engineered with built-in redundency. Now that I am in the suburbs, I am looking into a Tramco pedestal pump over a submersible zoeller or big box brand that gets replaced every 5 years as a precaution. $200-300+ Diy/ big box pump every 5 years adds up, plus the anxiety just isn't worth it.
