Loveland has plenty of snow and good terrain. The snow cat and hike-to terrain is excellent for advanced skiers. Food and drink is reasonably priced, especially compared to larger resorts. A good portion of their terrain is above treeline. Combine this with strong winds (which are common at Loveland!) and you get some miserably cold days where you're stuck on lift one because it's the only sheltered lift. Overall, it's a good resort for the price.
