It was a hot day but there were surprisingly quite a lot of animals out, also managed to go early enough in the school year so there weren't any school groups there, yay. The butterfly house is really great, so many butterflies. We saw an elephant swimming to get his food. I recommend it, it's an old zoo but they seem to be giving the animals a fair bit of space and lots of enrichment.
