The acoustics here are such that it is a very, loud, noisy place. Much of the exhibition space is also quite dark. These factors can be quite intimidating for small children who also have to be lifted up to see many of the exhibits.

The main aquarium is very impressive and features such as the ice wall and the temperature globe were very popular with our children.

Overall it is somewhere I cannot recommend for small children but I am sure it is a wholly more enjoyable experience for the older ones.

All the staff were extremely helpful.
