Great for family. This was our first visit to the aquarium. You pay $5 to park then pay for entry to the building. There are several varieties of fish, fresh and salt water, plus lots of exhibits to explore and even pet fish. I don't think we would go more than a couple times as it is one of the places that don't change often. Very kid friendly.
