This zoo is very well maintained. All the animals have nice big enclosures and the staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. There is a lot to see and you can get really close to koalas, penguins and kangaroos if you book an up close encounter for an additional price. The zoo also has some spots with great view of Sydney opera house. It's big not so much that you can't see it in a day. The only downside was the platypus was hiding and we didn't get to see it.
