I brought my 88 year old parents to Jordan's in Avon to buy a loveseat. They insisted that we had to go today to get the double sales tax discount. They insisted that we go to Jordan's because they had had only great experiences with Jordan's. We found a loveseat in the clearance center, they were thrilled with their find and calculated their sales price.... it was then that the salesman told him that discount did not apply to the clearance center. He offered them a discount if they picked up the sofa within 72 hours something that was not even a possibility for them. To make this long story come to an end not only did my parents loose out on the double discount... roughly 75 dollars they have to pay a 96 delivery fee. They were debating whether to complete their purchase but decided to go ahead and buy the loveseat... they really did like Jordan's and told anyone who spoke about purchasing furniture to go to Jordan's. But today they are feeling a bit overwhelmed after spending more than they had planned on spending. You should make sure that your associates let the clearance customers are not eligible for your no sales tax holiday. Very disappointing.
