We made a reservation back in May to stay in one of there cabins in Oct. I received a call from one of there representatives on 8-17-20 telling me the cabin we rented had sold and the new owner opted to use a different rental company so it was no longer available. The rep for Eden Crest apologized and told me she was sending an email over with 2 cabins on it and I was supposed to let her know which one we wanted to switch to. When I called in to confirm the cabin we chose we were told that the rep we talked to was new and they probably could not honor the offer because the price for the replacement cabin was more than the one we reserved. Someone called us back and told us that could not honor there offer and that they would refund our deposit. So now we do not have a cabin and trying to book one this late in the game will be expensive. If I had tried to cancel the reservation they would have kept my deposit but since they are canceling there are no penalties for them. After alot of discussion with the rep she did say near the end of the conversation "since I have you on here let me see if I can find something that would work for you". I assumed she would have done that before the offer to exchange for one of the 2 cabins they originally offered and at least before she called me to say they could not honor there offer and were going to return our deposit instead. I told her to call or email me back when she found something but never heard from her again. I would recommend renting through a different company. This company has no values it's all about the money for them
