Our favorite seafood place! The Optimist has a stylish environment, lively atmosphere, and even better food and wine. This is a great spot on for a weekday date-night or a weekend night out, but either way you'll want to dress a little nicer.

Would definitely recommend snagging a reservation, but if you do have to wait, there are yard games and seating available in the courtyard outside. They also have valet right at the door, which is nice.

During their crowded times, the wait staff can get a little stretched. In other words, you shouldn't come here on a tight timeline or schedule. We usually spend 2 hours enjoying shared plates, dinner and conversation over wine.
