We didn't know the garden tour is separate from the palace and forgot our Paris pass back at the hotel. But the musical gardens is a lot on it's own without being able to explore the palace. Definitely see the musical gardens if you can during the days they're turned on. It's really something. We took the tram and stopped by Marie Antoinette's estate as well but only explored the house since it was too hot to walk all the way back there since her estate is so grand. Would love to come back on my next trip and explore the rest!
