Il Berzieri is a building of 1914-1923 following the discovery of the healing properties of salsobromoiodic waters by the physician Lorenzo Berzieri. The project was by the architect Ugo Giusti while the frescoes and decorations by the painter Galileo Chini, a Florentine who was inspired by oriental architecture as he studied in Bangkok. This building is a unique splendor if you think ke it took a very high amount of time x to make it happen and many masons, marble workers and so on were employed. For many years it was used x cures (mud baths) now there is a wellness center. Guided tours are available and I recommend you to fully enjoy the history of this wonder.
