Tartine is my own little bit of Paris in San Francisco.



The banana cream pie ($6.50) was perfectly made. The whipped cream was wispy, cloudlike, and delicate. The pie contained actual fresh slices of bananas. The shell was crispy and tantalizing. As a whole, the dessert was only slightly sweet. A much welcomed surprise for a society that oversugars everything - including life.
