Went to the Belk bowl USC vs Virgina.
Left my pistol, spare mag, Kershaw twitch knife, Swiss army knife, and my Gerber tactical pen in the truck. Should have left my keys as well, because the carabineer my keys are in was "too big and could be used as brass knuckles." I'm a black belt in karate and I'm an 18 year army veteran with three combat tours totaling 37 months in combat. I was with my wife, brother in-law, sister in-law, two nephews, and father in-law.
I don't need brass knuckles, nor have I ever used any.
My keys have been on that carabineer for two of my deployments. Not happy they took them!
A group of guys coming in, sure I can see it, but with kids with me? Use some common sense!
I wasn't looking for a fight; that's just how I carry my keys!
