Ordered a new Africa Twin at Thunderroad. I was offered identical packages / deals at a number of Honda dealers including one closer to where I live, but ordered with Thunderroad for one reason and one reason alone; customer service. Everyone I met from the moment I walked in from the lady on reception, her colleague in the service department (another lady) and members of the sales/finance team were nothing short of excellent. All are stand out examples of friendliness and professionalism. It would be remiss of me not to make special mention of Richard Lang of the sales team, to say it was a pleasure to deal with him would be an understatement. A true professional and a complete gentleman.
I was never in any doubt about buying a Honda, and the Africa Twin stands on its own merits but I was undecided about where I should buy it. Not any more. My advice; if you, if you're in the market for a new Honda or Suzuki or perhaps some other used bike , visit Thunderroad even if they're not on your doorstep.
