So, this place is incredible, inspiring and fundamentally one of the best environmental achievements this side of rising Pompeii from its own ashes. People criticise the heat of the domes, the price of the food and about the project being totally associated with plants. This is a project to prove to children and adults alike that you can turn an open cast mine into a beautiful landscape, with brilliant architecture to boot. If you don't like the heat in the biodomes (be prepared it can be between 30-35c) then there's lots more to see. Science not your thing then walk around the landscaped gardens. Too expensive to eat? Not really. Cheaper than my local pub for a good meal. Great day out with the family and if you get an annual pass you can share it with the gardens of helligan too. Buy your tickets in advance to get a 10% discount too. It's great. Just go...
