Well, came up for a conference with a group and was a very cheap place to stay. That being said... one of my coworkers went to turn on the tv and it didn t work. So, was going to call the front desk and picked up the phone... the receiver was not plugged into the base. She plugged it in and proceeded to call to have no dial tone... the cord was unplugged from the base as well... drove over to the front desk and took her remote, cause no buttons on the tv and had to use the night office... talking to the lady through the glass they have up. Informed her that she needed a remote that worked and what she found with the phone. The lady asked did you fix the phone? Then lady takes the remote to the back and a few mins later, came back and said here is a remote... we think it was the same one, she even questioned it, but the lady said it was a different one. She drives back to our rooms... Goes to turn on the tv... still didn t work... drives back to the office and asked for a room with a working tv. The lady states she has to many people in her room to change... it was one other person. My coworker then stated she will move her stuff too... the lady then stated she had been in the room to long to switch rooms. Then proceeded to tell her to check the tv and plug it up if needed. My co worker then drives back to her room and moves the desk the tv is on, to find old dirty socks and some broken glass. Plugged in the tv that was unplugged for some reason, and it worked fine. Then was looking for a do not disturb thing to hang on the door, opened a drawer in the desk and found and old used plastic spoon, dirty gardening type glove... ok, whatever wasn t going to use the drawer anyways, but very gross. The next day went to get extra towels for our room and same lady asked since we were getting more towels, we didn t need maid service till we left? Wrong... two towels in the room for four people, did they expect us to share? Then same coworker went to use her restroom in the morning and the toilet clogged and over flowed... turned off the water and called the office about that, they came out and later that day... it did it again... called the office again... they came out again. Relies we are up here for a conference for gone most of the time and just there to sleep really. Got back to the room tonight and getting ready for bed and getting things ready for the next day... notice a bug crawling on the desk in my room. It was a roach! I killed it and packed up all my stuff and left. At midnight to drive 2hrs home and missing the rest of my conference because hotels are booked up because of the conference. I don t and won t sleep with bugs! So, if I could give this place negative stars I would but I m not able to, so they did get 1 star from me. I really don t recommend this place at all!
