This was a horrible experience. I was given a quote on my car, which I was completely up front and honest about. I got a call from the person who was supposed to do my appraisal, I believe his name was Darren, the day my appraisal was scheduled and he told me 3 things:

1. That there was no notary available that day.
2. That the quote would not change.
3. That I need to come in on a weekday (this was a Saturday).

So I asked him if Monday at 1:30pm would work and he said yes.

So I showed up at 1:30pm said Monday and he was not there. So some kid who seemed he didn't know what he was doing took over. And said kid reappraised my car for less money.

I was just trying to get rid of the car, so, $200 less didn't really bother me, but the fact that when I called for the appraisal I was told I needed a formal title and when I got to the location I was told that the affidavit of lost title would have sufficed, also upset me.... I spent $83 on a day of title that I did not need to.

I was also told by Darren that ot would be about an hour process. I don't know the name of the manager who was handling it in place of Darren, but about 2 hours into this whole debacle, I approached him and asked why it was taking so long. I said, come on, it's $100, you're not buying a house here.

At that point, he, (white male, approximately 5'10", somewhat skinny and facial hair) got aggressive with me and looked me in the eye, not far from my face and said in, not a yelling voice, but not a friendly one, "WE DON'T HAVE TO DO THIS" twice. I was confused so I said, what are you talking about? And he turned around, grabbed the keys to the car I was trying to sell, shoved them IN MY FACE, and said again, "WE DONT HAVE TO DO THIS!"

This was honestly the most unprofessional and upsetting sales experience I've ever had in my 36 years of life.

I will never do business of any kind with Autonation ever again.
