I have lived at the Branbury for 20 months and my main complaint is the Branbury has rules that they don't enforce. Just fixing that problem alone would help IMMENSELY because anything goes here.

I have moved into two apartments there (switched from one to another) and both times the person whose spot I was taking didn't clean up. By that I mean they didn't remove their belongings so that I had space for my things and left hair and filth in the bathrooms. That's no big deal, because maybe they had to leave quickly and didn't have time. The real problem is maintenance did NOT come to clean up (each and every time) even though I found the white glove check out papers for those people saying they failed and were charged. So where did that money go? Not to clean the apartment apparently. 3x I had to do the cleaning in those apartments. THREE TIMES! I gave the office a week to do that but I can only stand using a filthy bathroom for so long. Another rule is the pets. Just say pets are allowed already because there are so many cats and dogs in my building running around taking dumps in the courtyard and grassy areas. I have reported an incident multiple times and at last the office told me, "Well, that person who has that particular dog is moving out next month..." So therefore what?! Her dog is free to ruin the lawn that we all have to share outdoor? I want to at least be able to walk to the laundry mat without stepping on turds. Charge her, make her clean it up, or at least maintenance clean it up - DO SOMETHING! The people at the office and the RAs are so passive that issues get swept under the rug. I am shocked that they are BYU approved. Because I have reported visitors of the opposite gender visiting after midnight (curfew) and being the bedrooms and NOTHING was done. Yeah the Branbury does a lot of little activities and parties at the clubhouse each week which are cute but that does not excuse their disorganized setup in the office. I would rather exchange the free waffle wednesdays, taco tuesdays, movie nights, sundae saturday, holiday festivals, etc. for professional conduct and common respect to the residents. It sickening the fees they charge are unfair and going to waste.

Maybe the Branbury is too big for one office to maintain. Maybe the cute activities and parties are taking too much of their time and money. Maybe the employees just need proper training (all of them, including the accountant) with customer service, work ethics... Just DO something for once! Note: this is the tip of the iceberg. I would give this less than a star if I could.
