Having read all of the negative reviews I was terrified of what would happen e.g. having to pay money that I didn't need to etc. My experience has been different. Sorry, this is going be long:
Having just moved to Toronto I purchased my LG G6 in January. I treated it well and I had no scratches or anything on it whatsoever. Around 5 days ago a message appeared on my phone saying "water in the usb port. Do not charge". I thought this was strange because I didn't bring it into contact with moisture at all. I contacted LG and they said as my phone was under warranty and given the condition of the problem they would be able to fix it for free by ship it through puralator. I lived close by so I thought I would drop it in personally. The receptionist (a young woman around my age) was lovely and welcoming. She explained everything to me and said if there was any damage to the internal circuit then I would have to pay. So I left the phone with them and tracked it online. The next day it was fixed and so I went to collect it. A one day turnaround is crazy. The guy I spoke to this time said that there was a problem with the charging port and no water damage. They didn't try and "rip me off". He was also very helpful and the technicians also improved the speed and setup of my phone for free. I left feeling happy. I understand people have had a different experience in the past but it's possible Futuretel have changed their tone or come under new management. This is just my experience.
