All Lies, Bait and Switch, and Rude Dealer you can...

All Lies, Bait and Switch, and Rude Dealer you can ever find.
On 01/08/2017, was browsing their dealer website to find a vehicle that interested me. It was a new 2016 model and wanted to know more about it as Manufacturer was offering rebates on the 2016 models and spoke with the Sales person.
Since we live an hour from the dealer location, I discussed as much as I can over the phone with the Sales person (Mr.John Cook) and later on with their Inventory Manager (Mr.Alphonso) and got a ballpark estimate (Out the Door Price)-based on the vehicle based on rebates.
This conversation happened for about 1/2 hour and I decided to drive, after their confirmation on the Vehicle availability on their Inventory.
I started to visit the Dealer, and half way through my visit, I get a call from the Inventory Manager that the Vehicle is sold and is no longer available. He kept saying that all their vehicles are in high demand can go off the lots within a blink of an eye. But he offered me to check their other vehicles and assured me that he can work out a best reasonable deal.
I believed in him and still went ahead halfhearted to check other vehicles. Browsed through several of those vehicles and liked one of them and began to negotiate a price with a contingency on selecting a color of my choice, which was available on their lot with exact same options (wanted to show it to wife before deciding).
Finally after an hour of negotiation, a price was agreed and I told them that the Vehicle cannot be taken on that day as I wanted to show the Vehicle to wife before taking it and also agreed to do the paper work for the Vehicle to be taken the next day.
They mentioned that I can come back next day and do the paperwork, and it was not a problem on their end to earn my Business. I also gave them an opportunity to write an earnest check, just to give them an assurance that I would not be sharing their bargained price and go to another dealer to beat that price.
On 01/09/2017, I received a call that morning, to confirm my appointment and responded them about our availability. Before starting to the Dealer, I made a call to them to make sure to tell them about my arrival time and appreciated me about my update.
After we reached, me and my wife selected a color of our choice and went to the Dealership lot to check the vehicle and selected one before we headed back to do the paperwork.
I was given bunch of documents to sign and also given a link to register Onstar on the Vehicle and while I was doing it, the Manager went to submit the Paperwork with their Finance.
Few minutes later, the Manager came back and told me that he was in a situation where he cannot honor the offer given yesterday (saying the manufacturer ended the rebate on 09/01/2017, while the fact is that the rebates were offered until the end of month 01/31/2017) and now the Vehicle costs $1000 more.
At this time, I got pissed off and told them I cannot offer anything more than what was offered and walked away from the dealership. I told him that I would like to talk to his Manager and he came and said the same.
It was not I could not afford the price, it was more of the Honesty in their dealing that pissed me off more than the price increase. This has even irritated me to check their true intent and their honesty more than anything else.
I was thinking to check if they were truly honest in what they were saying and I called their 1-800 number to check if the Original 2016 Vehicle I initially enquired about was available as it was still listed on their website at a special price and got confirmation from their 1-800 number.
I hung up and believed everything that I doubted and decided that I would never ever deal with these kind of scrupulous Dealer again.
They do whatever means they can to sell you a vehicle of your choice and the Price at their choice until nth minute.
If you want to deal with this kind of experience, then please go ahead and visit them, keeping an open mind of Don't trust what they say or What you see on their Website .
