I purchased high end travertine from stone mart via my pool remodeling company. HORRIBLE product.

They originally send stone that was terribly chipped and broken and the usable stuff was full of pock marks. It looked like swiss cheese. After much back and forth from the pool company and stone mart, they would take SOME of it back and redeliver when they got a new shipment from Turkey. Oh and it just so happened that after the original complaint the stone price went up so our pool company paid the difference.

What a shyster.

We finally received the new stones and at this point I would NEVER order from them again. The stone is still chipped on over 50% and still pretty pock marked. We had no choice but to take what they gave us because we had already paid to receive the top of tier travertine and doubt we were getting our money back so we went with it. :( its an example of poor quality product with no regard to make the customer happy. I am sick looking at our travertine, but I'm stuck with it now. Wish I was a millionaire so I could get new from somewhere else. I'd probably go to Miami next.

I have no idea how much they ripped off our pool company for in the end $$. All I know is the company will no long use StoneMart as a source. So you know it's wasn't good in the end.

Thanks for ruining my expectations on how nice travertine would be, frankly after this I'd say don't waste your money. Horrible product.
