I'm updating my rating. Below is the original text. However, since the procedure, the Dr has been very good about following up to see how my puppy was doing. The Dr. has stayed in touch and responded to my emails when I had questions and is providing some remote advice as we determine what to do regarding the adult teeth. So I've raised my rating from 1 star to 3 stars.

Original review: I rarely write reviews but this was Very poor customer service. Drop off procedure if you have any questions is unbelievably long - Took two hours from 6am to 8am. Then they didn t start the procedure until 1pm. Our puppy was probably crated the entire time in a terrible stressful situation (they refused to describe where he was kept for 5 hours and kept forwarding me to a voicemail). The day before they said he would go first because it isn t healthy for puppies to have to fast that long. I guess getting the revenue in the door that day was the priority over providing a good service to the puppy.
After doing more research it was clear they downplayed the risks of major complications of this procedure, and did not give any other alternatives of treatment despite various other literature indicating there are other treatment possibilities. They also gave postoperative instructions that are unrealistic, like asking us to stop a puppy from doing any chewing for two weeks without any specific methods to do this aside from constantly watching him or crating him . I think they have a strong focus on trying to do as many surgeries as possible. Will update once we see how recovery goes.
