I have owned several homes in the past but this is a dream come true for me and my family - building a brand new home. When I tell people I am building a brand new home, everyone thinks I am under lots of stress... well it has been nothing but a pleasant experience.
We had the home build in almost 3 months, it is exactly what we wanted and also received a great special from Southern Homes in $4,000 of free house upgrades. Did I mention the $0 closing cost?
I worked closely with Janet Backman and loved all of her advice and genuine care in insuring we made the best choices in floor plan, kitchen, bathroom designs and extras. She first found out what were our needs as a family, what was important to us and if the price we would pay is adequate.
While the house was getting build, we would drive by to keep up with the progress and several neighbors would come to meet us and just say welcome to the neighborhood. We are closing this week, the house ready and we are super thrilled!!

P.S. Our building supervisor Scott also took a great care of us, great guy. He called every Friday to give me an update and answered every additional questions I had.
