A wonderful family day out. NOTE that if you have a baby then bring a sling because pushchairs/strollers are FORBIDDEN in the palace itself, but fine for the gardens.

Also note that he fountains are not on every day however the gardens are free (gratis) on some days. If you want a cheaper trip then plan around this as the gardens are worth a visit even without seeing the palace.

The parking is a little expensive (18 EUR for 5 hours).

The Palace itself is wonderful. Stunning inside and we'll worth the visit.
